Since we have been doing a lot of house projects we accumulated more trash than our weekly trash pick up could keep up with so we loaded up the pick up and headed to the landfill. Ye-haw!! I've only been a few time but it is always sad to see first hand just how much stuff we consumer and how much of it ends up buried in the earth. So much of what we saw today had no reason going to the landfill. Spotted a lot of recyclable materials, building materials, and yard waste. It is said that over 70% of what goes into our landfills is compostable. We really our poor stewards of the Earth.
